Challenge

When Dribba's team took on the challenge of developing Slastik's website, they had to carefully consider how to balance the demands of two very different audiences. On one hand, the B2C segment required a focus on user experience, where the site's aesthetics, ease of navigation, and accessibility were paramount. On the other hand, the B2B segment presented a different set of challenges. These functionalities demanded a more robust interface and data management systems capable of handling complex and large-scale transactions. The challenge was to integrate these advanced capabilities without compromising the usability and efficiency of the site for B2C users. This involved careful planning and design of the site's architecture, ensuring that the needs of both segments were effectively and balancedly addressed.

Solution

To address this challenge, the team opted to use NextJS and GraphQL, advanced technologies that offer great flexibility and performance. NextJS, known for its ability to produce high-performance web applications with server-side rendering, allowed Dribba to build a fast and efficient user interface, crucial for enhancing the customer experience and facilitating intuitive navigation. On the other hand, GraphQL provided a robust solution for handling the complex data queries required to meet the diverse demands of the B2C and B2B segments, enabling significant customization and efficiency in data management.
